Hey there! I’m Sarah! Thanks for stopping by!
Who am I?
I am a lover of Jesus; a wife to my adorable Army boy, Geoff; a mommy to 3 kiddie-pies (Gabriel, 15, Addison, 13 and Lucy, 7); and I’m a wildly passionate person. Mostly about Geoff, my kids and Jesus…and theology and the Bible… and encouraging women. For the past 10 years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of leading inductive bible studies, leading women’s ministries, speaking at women’s groups and conferences, and contributing to a published Bible study on the book of 1 John through Mars Hill Church. You can read more about why I do what I do in my post, Suffering as a Grace: My Story.
On top of ministry, I seriously love decorating and artsy stuff. I love color!!! Orange is my favorite. Actually, it’s more of a poppy color. Yes, poppy. Poppy makes me smile. Oh, and I love worship music. And running. And smiling. And bacon. And chocolate.
Whew! I think I wear Geoff out. (No, really. I totally do.)
What attracted me to him was how laid-back he was. Nothing ruffles him. After being married to him for 17 years and observing his “chill” way of approaching life, I realize that I’m quite the opposite. I zip through life, excited about one new thing God is showing me after another, with just enough hormonal swing to make it all *very* interesting. And I like to talk to him about it. A lot. He’s so brave to have married me. I think I exhaust him. He so did not know what he was in for. Teehee. Bless his heart.
I also love words. Apparently. In Kindergarten, I had one little girl tell her mom about me: “I know why Sarah has such big cheeks! She keeps all of her words in them!”. Yep. Big cheeks. And lotsa words. That about sums me up.
So I joked with Geoff that this blog would be a means to keep me from having to tell him everything that swims around in my brain. Now you’re the lucky gal who gets to hear me rant and rave about Jesus. Lucky you.

I can’t wait to get to know you!!!
